Brad marched in a Veterans Day parade. It was a small thing in Mildenhall village. They marched to a war memorial, layed down poppy wreaths and then marched to the church where a rememberance service was held. They call it rememberance day here and they do not get the day off. At 11am they do a nation wide silence lead by the Queen over the radio. It was very neat to be a part of and I must say they are way more patriotic then Americans. We were both very impressed. For those of you not familiar with the poppys they all wear them here around this time of year as part of remembering the veterans. The story behind it is that after the war, WWI, ended poppy's grew in the fields where the deceased had been left. Just a brief bit of information. Brad looked very good and marched well. He is the front row on the left when looking at the picture.
