The "REAL" Deal

Our dear friends the Briggs came over the share Easter with the Engels and Grammy.  Molly was in charge of the Easter Egg hunt.  It was so much fun to watch Tucker and Bella hunt eggs.

Easter Morning

Easter morning was so special.  It was the 3rd Easter Grammy has been here and the first Easter where Tucker really got to enjoy it and Spencer's first Easter ever.

Hunting Eggs Round 1

Since Tucker has never hunted for Easter Eggs we had a few practice rounds at home.  He caught on really quick and now LOVES to hunt for eggs.  We started by putting a coin in each egg.  After he found it he opened the egg and took the coin to his piggy bank.

Grammy brought some little Easter Eggs to decorate a tree.  We went on a hunt for the perfect branch and Daddy cut it down.

Bean's First Haircut

Tucker has his haircut for the first time on Wednesday April 9th.  He was a good boy and didn't fuss at all.  That is not to say that he liked it, but he cooperated.

Spencer 2 weeks old

Spencer had his 2 week check up on Tuesday April 15th with Dr. Reynolds.  He weighed in at 8 pounds and 6 ounces and 20.5 inches long.  Due to margin of error I guess he shrunk since birth.  Not really, but who knows.  His head circumference is in the 90th percentile, while the rest of him is in the 50th.  Just like his Big Brother!  We love you more and more everyday little man!

Tucker is such a great big brother.  He helps change Spencer, sometimes, and likes to cuddle with him, when daddy is holding him.  We are slowly warming up to him but still have a hard time sharing the spotlight.

Every night before bath Tucker gets a little naked time to run around and be silly!

We are all so glad to be home and starting to adjust to life with 2 little boys!

Spencer Arrives

On April 1st, 2014 Spencer Phipps Engel arrived at 227 pm England time.  He weighed in at 7 pounds 14 ounces and 20.75 inches long.  Tucker is learning how to be a big brother and share the spotlight, not always the easiest thing to ask of a 20 month old little boy!
