Crazy Hair Day

We were so excited for this one because of his long hair.  We bought special paste like hair product.  We even did a trial run the night before.

Really?

Mix Match Day

Tucker's class at school had a spirit week the last week of school before Christmas Break.  We only got to participate in 2 days.  This was Mix Match Day

Is this really what I am wearing?

Are you sure all the kids will look this ridiculous?

I don't believe you but it is too early to argue mom and dad!

Grammy and Grandpa's Gifts

Before we left for St Louis for the Holidays we got a couple boxes from Grammy and Grandpa.  Tucker loved opening ALL the gifts, no matter who they were for.

Tucker is so excited he can hardly wait for Grammy and Grandpa to get on Skype!

Concentrating hard!

Is this a real Beanie Buddy?

Playing his new instruments for Grammy and Grandpa on Skype!

 Monster Duct Tape!

Advent Calendar

A Phipps tradition is to do the family advent calendar.  We were blessed to have inherited the original.  Tucker didn't quite get the point but we tried anyways.  He just wanted to haul the pieces off and hide them.  Either way we started a family tradition that I have done for as long as I can remember.

First time needed a lot f assistance!

 I got this!

Hauling them off to hide them from mommy and daddy!

Apple Picking

For Thanksgiving I was in charge of making apple pie.  I offered because at our new house we have a couple apple trees.  Well...when we leave in the morning it is dark and when we get home it is dark.  So naturally we went out in the dark to pick apples.  It was quite entertaining!

Super excited for another Engel adventure!

Mommy and Tucker wait patiently for daddy to get enough apples.

Making sure daddy got good ones!

Oh...a boot!

Gender Reveal

Brad and I decided that for this baby we wanted to find out the gender.  Molly planned an amazing gender reveal so we could find out a fun way.  We had the radiologist write it down and then Molly opened it when she got home.  She had to keep the secret for 4 days.  I know it was hard but she did a great job.

 What will it be?

Tucker wanted a sister!

Mommy convinces Tucker that he will be so glad to have a little brother!

Bella wanted a girl!

Remembrance Day Chelveston

Every Veteran's Day we go to the small village of Chelveston to do the laying of the Poppy wreath for British Remembrance Day.  It is one of our favorite things and look forward to it all year.  This is the 3rd year we have done it so we have really grown to know the local villagers and enjoy their company for tea and cookies after the service.  This was Tucker's second year.

Eating Mum Mum's to stay quiet during church!
