The Ice Bar

This last weekend we went to London and went to the Ice Bar. It is a bar made of ice. It was really cool. We went with our friends Michele and Miguel and stayed the night down there. It was a lot of fun. Anyone that comes to visit we will have to go. Brad got his face painted as a tiger at the rainforest cafe. It looked so good.

Veterans Day

Brad marched in a Veterans Day parade. It was a small thing in Mildenhall village. They marched to a war memorial, layed down poppy wreaths and then marched to the church where a rememberance service was held. They call it rememberance day here and they do not get the day off. At 11am they do a nation wide silence lead by the Queen over the radio. It was very neat to be a part of and I must say they are way more patriotic then Americans. We were both very impressed. For those of you not familiar with the poppys they all wear them here around this time of year as part of remembering the veterans. The story behind it is that after the war, WWI, ended poppy's grew in the fields where the deceased had been left. Just a brief bit of information. Brad looked very good and marched well. He is the front row on the left when looking at the picture.

Halloween

For Halloween this year we went to our friends house, Michele and Miguel. They threw quite the Halloween extravaganza. It was a blast. I was Tigger and Brad was, well you can take a look and use your imagination. The costumes were last minute and over here you cannot just run to Wal-mart and get something the day of. I guess we are learning slowly about the lack of convenience here.

Bradley's accomplishments

Moving to England has opened some great doors for Brad. He has gone back to school to earn his degree. He is studying hard and is kicking ass on his tests. He also got a new job in the Air Force. It was a once in a life time opportunity and they offered it to him. He is enjoying it a lot and is working with a lot of great people that inspire him and are helping him to reach his goals. He has a lot to be proud of!!

Our Babies

Maloaee and Suzy are doing well. They love it here in England and we are so thankful to have them here. For those of you that know Maloaee, she is growing. She is starting to listen, not all the time but most if the time. Suzy is still sassy as always. She runs the house there is no doubt about that. Maloaee misses Magnum, Tyson, Sadie, Phoebe, Vinny and all her friends. Suzy misses Isabel, she is more exclusive. They say hi to all their friends.

Honeymoon Canary Islands

We just returned from our belated Honeymoon on Saturday. We went to the Canary Islands. It is off the coast of Africa but is owned by Spain. It was an incredible time. It was very warm and we laid by the pool and on the beach a lot. We went to a medieval dinner also. It was great. There was show and the food was awesome. We also went to the top of the highest peak in Spain. It was really windy, hints my crazy hair, but it was still fun. We mostly just relaxed and enjoyed being together.

England

We are enjoying our time here in England. We have been to Ely Cathedral, The Ocean and to London once. There is a lot to adjust to in a different country. The animals are loving it here. We live on a lot of land, an estate to be exact, so we go on long walks everyday with the dog. She is loving it!! Suzy is happy that it is not so hot. She even likes to venture outside every now and then. We have met some great people and are enjoying expanding our groups of friends. Brad is enjoying work and working harder than ever. Krisa is working on getting a teaching job in the British schools. She has gotten a National Insurance Number, like a SSN. It is just a matter of time before the clearance goes through. We miss and love you! Thank you to all the love and support from everyone through this move.
